Anastasia State Park - St Augustine Beaches

Anastasia State Park has one of our favorite St Augustine Beaches and is one of the best Florida State Parks for beach activities.  It is located over the Lions Bridge on Anastasia Island and just a 10 minute drive from the downtown historic district of St. Augustine.

Eco tourism is abundant for birding and once you are on the beach you can walk for an hour and a half to the North for a private beach hike or bicycle ride.  While you are in the state park, check out Anastasia water sports for beach rentals for kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding and Hobie catamaran sailing.

Although there is good camping in Anastasia State Park, it is always better to stay in the comforts of St. Augustine.  Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast is a better way to stay.
