St Augustine Florida Heritage Book Festival

The 3rd Annual St Augustine Florida Heritage Book Festival will be held on September 24th and 25th of 2010.  This is a great young event that is transforming into a major event for Florida reading enthusiasts.

The authors and books chronicle the ethnic, social and historical heritage of the Sunshine state and bring Florida to life.  Events include writer's workshops, children programs, literary legends award ceremony and banquet.

Meet your favorite Florida author's and enjoy the literary excitement of the event.  Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast has the unique opportunity to host Larry Baker and Darrell House.  Larry Baker, a former St. Augustine resident, is a fiction writer and currently teaches American Literature and Culture at the University of Iowa.  Darrell House is an award winning children's author and recording artist.  Join him for a fun and interactive program featuring music, guitar, singing and storytelling.

This is a very popular event and most of the programs will be held in St Augustine's downtown historic district, which makes this event ideal for staying here.  Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast is a better way to stay for escaping daily life for the world of books.
