St Augustine Bed and Breakfast and the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival
As an Innkeeper of a bed and breakfast it is welcoming to know that the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival will return to the downtown historic district after a very successful event last year. This is one of the best Florida festivals and the great thing about it is that the venues for this event are within blocks of the Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast. See the map for venue locations. There may not be a better combination of folk music along with dozens of great restaurants, beautiful bed and breakfast inns all showcased in one of the most romantic cities in America. This year's festival will be April 29 - May 1, 2011
This Florida folk festival is probably one of the most overlooked festivals in the state. The St. Johns Cultural Council is hoping to manage and promote this year's event. Considering their narrow window of opportunity for spreading the word about this festival, statewide and national promotion will likely be limited resulting in another intimate event in the oldest city. Stay in St. Augustine for this intimate collection of music, food and lodging.
Most Inns have parking and some have parking on site. The Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast offers free parking on site and guests will be able to walk to all of the venues. We offer a full breakfast along with homemade breads. Desserts are offered daily in the afternoon and evening and drinks are complimentary. Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast is the better way to stay for the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival.
