The Florida Georgia football game is this weekend and we suggest that you stay in St Augustine when traveling in Florida. The Jacksonville and St. Augustine accommodations will be busy and many people overlook the opportunity to stay in the oldest city for this event. Florida Georgia football fans enjoy strolling the brick streets and the St Augustine restaurants, historical attractions, and the shopping in the area.
St. Augustine will be busy with the Annual Pirate Gathering and from the Halloween festivities, so don't travel to St Augustine without a place to stay. Our cozy cottage is the only thing we still have available for this weekend and it is the perfect place for a Florida cottage vacation with friends and family. Stay in the middle of it all. Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast is the better way to stay for the Florida Georgia football weekend.

Southern Living features Holiday Tour of Historic Inns of St Augustine
The Holiday Tour of Historic Inns of St Augustine is featured in the Florida Living section of Southern Living Magazine's November 2011 issue. This is quite an honor for an organization in the travel industry and it will certainly be of great help in making this year's Holiday tour successful for the Historic Inns of St. Augustine and their supporting charity, The Empty Stocking Fund. This year's Tour will be held on December 10th and 11th and this year's theme is "Spirit's of Christmas Past". The Bed and Breakfast Holiday Tour is just one facet of the annual "Nights of Lights" Celebration, in which the city is aglow with more than 2 million tiny white lights.
When traveling to Florida for a weekend getaway be sure to stay during the second weekend in December and enjoy the other special events, including the Holiday Regatta of Lights. A St Augustine Inn is the place to be during the holiday season and the Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast is the better way to stay to experience the ambiance and spirit of the Holiday season.
