St. Augustine Selected Best of the World 2013

National Geographic has selected St. Augustine as a top 20 must-see destinations in the world for 2013.  This prestigious honor goes to one of only a few U.S. destinations selected for 2013.  St. Augustine was noted for the ambiance of creating a genuine slice of "old Florida" for its authenticity, culture, and the preservation of its essential character.  Some of the other destinations included were:  Marseille France, Kyoto Japan, Grenada, and Uganda Africa.

This is quite an honor which will bring more visitors and increased interest as the oldest continuously occupied city moves closer to 500th anniversary of the discovery of Florida, which is being celebrated throughout the state of Florida this coming year.  This is a great time to join in on the celebration and visit the city where it all began.  Stay in the center of history at the Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast.
